About Us

AEI is an organization for young people involved in the creative arts. It was founded by Darren Olah around the year 2000 and has developed quite a bit since then.
AEI has members that are passionate in many areas including filmmaking, traditional art, digital art, audio production, game design and more.

Darren Olah manages this site.

He loves technology and filmmaking, yet odds are you’ve seen more movies than him! He keeps himself busy working on his original card game with his brother Brad as an artist, writing perpetually unfinished short stories, creating short films, and enjoying TV series like Lost, Fringe and Firefly.
Darren is pursuing a dual degree in Film & Media Arts and Information Science & Technology at Temple University.
His friends and family usually consider him to be smitten with his girlfriend, Corene, an accusation that he does not deny.
In addition to contributing to this site, Darren runs a personal blog called Darren to be Different. He doesn’t make a habit of writing about himself in third person, although he admits to doing it occasionally.
