Lazarus Rising

On Tuesday we held our first filming day for Lazarus: Forth from Ashes. The footage is looking quite good because we weren’t rushing, and we were able to get plenty of angles. Also our external microphone gives us crystal clear voices. Roughly cut together the footage makes up about 1:30. We have filming dates set for Monday and Friday of next week, and are trying to get as many in as possible. We don’t really have the luxury of time because Joel Marzzarella who plays Jonah Carter in the film will be leaving the country in early June. For those interested in Lazarus, thus means we’ll likely have to have the film completed by mid or late June. We’ll keep you up to date on further developments. That’s all for now!

Another week has passed with little to mention, but we’re still here, and have some big plans for the next month.

Waking Giant

On Saturday, two AEI films will be shown at the waking Giant Film Festival in Chambersburg, PA: The Exchange, and The Rainhurst Project. This is exciting news, because this will be the first time AEI films have been shown at a film festival. Darren Olah and Joel Marzarella will be attending the festival to represent AEI.

We’re shooting for a May filming date for Lazarus’ first part. If all goes well, we’ll be able to release this first section late May.

It’s Friday!

And today we so excited because we’re introducing something new!

Shiny new weekly updates!

Each Friday from now on we’ll be posting an update on what’s new with Atomic Entertainment Industries, such progress that we’ve made on a project or anything else worthy of mention. This will be a great place to read news that isn’t big enough to warrant a standalone post.

We’ll continue with standalone posts just as often as before, whenever they’re needed. The only difference is that with the weekly update you know there will be something to come back to and read at least every Friday!

Impending filming for Lazarus.

The Lazarus set has reached a point where it can be considered completed. There are a few optional additions that we could still add, such as posters and other artwork on the walls, but we are ready to go whenever we can get the cast together.

The state of AdSense.

So far we’ve received a small amount of revenue from our AdSense ads around the site. It’s not yet quite enough to cover the hosting costs but it is close. Again, we encourage you to click on ads on our site if you’re legitimately interested in it, rather than waiting and clicking it later on some other site.
